Description
Paradise Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century, with a 20th-century extension at the rear right. It features a timber frame on a rendered plinth, with close framing exposed on the ground floor and rendered infill, while the upper section is tile hung, all beneath plain tiled roofs that step down to the left. The building has large corbelled ridge stacks at both the right and left ends of the main roof. It is two storeys high and has a two-bay range set back to the left, with four leaded casement windows across the first floor. There is a ribbed door located on the left side of a pent roof porch at the angle of the two ranges. A pent roof extension is present at the right end, and there is a wing at the rear that is at right angles to the rear right. Inside, considerable amounts of the timber frame are visible.
