Description
Wilmots Farm House is a 16th-century house that was restored in the 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a coursed stone plinth at the front, with whitewashed render cladding below and tile hanging above. The roof is hipped and covered with plain tiles, and there are end stacks with corbelled tops. The house has two storeys, with a jettied first floor that includes three diamond-pane leaded casement windows. On the ground floor, there are stepped brick supports to the right and square bay windows that support the jetty. A ribbed door is located to the right of centre, sheltered by a rustic porch with a flat roof and square wooden supports. The return fronts display exposed framing and whitewashed brick infill. Inside, there is a considerable amount of exposed framing.
