Description

Locks Cottage is a late 17th-century cottage that was extended in the 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a rendered plinth, with rendered cladding on the ground floor and tile hanging above. The first floor has exposed framing on the right side. The roof is plain tiled and steps down to the right, with a triple brick stack located at the junction of the roofs. The cottage has two storeys, with two casement windows on the left side of the first floor and one on the right. There are four casement windows across the ground floor, and a glazed door is positioned to the left of center. The right-hand return front displays exposed framing made of thin scantling. A 20th-century wing is added to the rear left. Inside, the thin framing is visible.
