Description

Sunny Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that has been extended to the left in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with a brick-clad ground floor, while the thin frame is exposed above and filled with brick, all topped with plain tiled roofs. The cottage is two storeys high and consists of two framed bays with diagonal double stacks at the right end. There is a small 20th-century ridge stack to the left. On both floors of the original section, there are two casement windows, and the new extension to the left has one window on each floor. The entrance door is located to the right of centre, sheltered by a 20th-century gabled porch. The wall frame on the right-hand return front and rear features diagonal bracing.
