Description
Fryleigh Cottages is a house that has been divided, dating from the early 16th century on the left side and the 18th century on the right. The building features a timber frame that is exposed, with whitewashed brick and render infilling, and has a hipped plain tiled roof with end gablets. It is two storeys high and consists of three framed bays, with an arched brace visible on the first floor to the left. There are two stacks located to the left of the centre. The first floor has three windows, while the ground floor has two. Doors are located at the outer ends of the building. There is also a tile-hung extension at the rear left. The left side may contain remains of a hall house, which has been extended to the right.
