Description
Betchworth Forge is an 18th-century forge featuring a timber frame constructed with thin scantling and brick infilling, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building is a single storey and consists of a three-bay range, with a lower single-bay addition on the left side. There is thin diagonal bracing over the middle rail of the end bays. The front has a central window and two lower windows to the left, all situated under a pentice drip hood. Additionally, there is one window in the single-storey range to the left. A front stack is located to the left at the junction of the ranges. The gable end on the left has a door with double doors to the left and a window above. This building is included in the register for its group value only.
