Cottage. C17. Timber framed on rubblestone plinth. Exposed framing with white-washed brick infill below, weatherboard cladding above; plain tiled roof half hipped to right; large rear offset central double stack on rubble stone base. 2 storeys, 2 framed bays, 2 three-light casements and 1 single light casement on first floor, two 3-light casements to ground floor. Planked door to right in gabled porch on wooden supports with dado walls; identical porch to left end. Catslide extension across right hand return front. Flat roofed single storey extension to rear left. Interior:- Framing visible in walls and ceilings with chamfered spine beams. Original end staircase and deep brick fireplaces with wooden lintels.
