Description

Millmeadow Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that features a timber frame with whitewashed rubble and brick underbuilding, and some rendered surfaces. The upper part of the building has brick infill in the exposed frame. It has a plain tiled roof that is half-hipped to the left. The cottage stands two storeys high and consists of four framed bays, with a stack located to the left of the center. There is a weatherboarded pentice extension on the right end and a brick pentice on the left end. The first floor has three diamond-pane, leaded casement windows, while there are two windows on the ground floor. A door on the right is sheltered by a flat hood supported by braces, and there is an additional door on the left-hand extension.
