Description
Church Farmhouse is a cottage dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped by a red plain tiled gambrel roof that features four gabled dormers. There are red brick chimney stacks on both the left and right sides of the building. The farmhouse has one storey and attics, with a range of four small paned casement windows. To the right, there is a single storey extension that is also plastered and has a red plain tiled roof. The central entrance door consists of six panels with two lights, framed by a moulded lugged architrave and topped with a pediment that has dentilled soffits. Inside, the layout comprises three bays with chamfered beams throughout. There is a brick fireplace with a stop chamfered beam above it, along with 18th-century doors and a cupboard, and an 18th-century wooden fire surround.
