Description

Church Cottages is a pair of cottages that date back to the 16th century or earlier. They are constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a thatched roof featuring two gabled dormers. The cottages have central and left red brick chimney stacks and are one storey high with attics. The ground floor has a four-window range of two-light casements, while the dormer windows, which are also from the 16th century, consist of three lights with diamond leaded glass, moulded frames, and mullions. The bargeboards and cornice are both moulded and dentilled.
