Description

Two cottages, likely dating from the 16th century or earlier, have undergone later alterations and additions in the 20th century. They are timber-framed and have been rendered with plaster. The roof is red clay tile, with a gable on the left-hand side and a gabled dormer window on the right. A central chimney stack is built of red brick. The cottages are one storey high with attics, and have a two-window front with modern casement windows, incorporating transoms. A central, segmental-headed porchway is supported by a brick arch, and features recessed modern doors. The buildings are listed for their contribution to the wider group value of the street.
