Description

This is a cottage located at 132 Nunnery Street, dating from the 17th century or earlier, with later alterations. It has a timber frame and is plastered, featuring panel pargetting. The roof is red pantiles, complemented by two grey slate catslide dormers. There are off-centre and external right red brick chimney stacks. The cottage is one storey with attics and has a five-window range of casements with glazing bars, as well as vertically sliding sashes in the dormers. A 20th-century enclosed gabled porch with a vertically boarded door adds to its character.
