Stane Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century or earlier, with later additions and alterations. It features a timber frame that is plastered with decorative panels. The cottage is one storey with attics and has a three-window range of 20th-century casements, which includes one bow window. There is a 20th-century porch and door, and a red brick chimney stack is located on the left side.
