Description

The Chase is a cottage that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with plastered walls and a red plain tiled roof that has two gabled dormers. The building has one storey and attics, with three windows on the ground floor that are horizontal sliding sashes. There is a central board door topped with a pentice board. To the right, there is an outshot extension, and an off-centre red brick chimney stack is present. The roof is supported by side purlins, and there is a 20th-century lean-to extension at the south end.
