Description
Church View Hillside is a house with a crosswing to the right, dating from the 16th century or earlier. It is timber framed and plastered, featuring 20th-century pargetting and some weatherboard. The roof is covered with red plain tiles. The building has a window arrangement of 1:1, primarily consisting of 19th-century three-light casements, along with a 17th or 18th-century square leaded casement on the first floor of the crosswing. There are two adjoining 20th-century plain board doors with small lights, sheltered by an open hipped porch with a red tiled roof. Inside, stop-chamfered beams and jowled storey posts are visible. The house has one red brick chimney stack to the left and two to the right.
