Description
Little Thorbens is a house and crosswing dating to the 16th century or earlier. It is timber-framed and plastered, with a red plain tiled roof featuring pierced ridge tiles. A date of 1564 is carved into a roof timber. The house is two storeys high. The crosswing is jettied, with pendants to brackets. It has a 1:1 window range featuring iron small-paned casements, with smaller central windows. External red brick chimney stacks are positioned to the right and left. A 20th-century small-paned door provides access to the crosswing. A single-storey 20th-century extension is attached to the right.
