Description
These stables, dating from the 18th century, are located to the northwest of the barn and are attached to outbuildings northwest of Greensted House. The stables are constructed of red brick and feature a red plain tiled roof that is half hipped to the left. The building is single storey with a loft and has dentilled eaves. Inside, the roof is supported by a king post construction. There are two stable doors with gauged brick arches and three-light windows above them. Additionally, there are three segmental windows, each with three lights. At the rear, there is an outshot that includes three circular window openings and a small weatherboarded outshot. It is noted that part of this building may be in Bobbingworth Parish.
