Description
The barn and attached outbuildings located to the northwest of Greensted House date from the 18th or 19th century. The central barn is timber framed and weatherboarded, featuring a half-hipped grey slate roof. To the left, the cartlodge is also timber framed and weatherboarded, with a red plain tiled roof. The cartlodge consists of two bays, supported by horizontal struts and queen struts. The barn has three bays, a rear midstrey, a queen strut roof, double doors, and four small paned windows. Attached to the right of the barn is a single-storey stable range made of brick, with a plain red tiled roof that has two hipped louvres topped with pointed finials. This stable range includes two stable doors, one of which has a light above it, and two small paned casement windows.
