Description

Ivy Cottage is a cottage built in the late 18th century or early 19th century, which formerly served as a Dames School. It is constructed from gault brick and features a hipped grey slate roof. The building is single storey and has a central red brick chimney stack. There is a four-window range of diamond leaded, two-light Gothic windows. The central door is made of nailed planks and muntins, topped with a pointed head.
