Description
The Old School House is an early 19th century cottage, originally used as a school. It is constructed with roughcast, likely over brick, and has pantile roofs with roughcast stacks situated to the right and left of the central range. The building comprises three gabled sections: a two-storey, three-bay house in the centre, and single-storey, single-bay school rooms projecting from each side. The central doorway has a door with pointed arched panels, flanked by casements with arched overlights. Above are two similar casements and a smaller, central blind panel, all set under Tudor arches. Each of the outer ranges features a large casement window with Gothic glazing bars, also under depressed arches.
