Description

The Old Lock Up is a lock up building dated 1823, constructed of red brick with some stucco. It features a hipped pantile roof and dogtooth eaves. The building is single storey and consists of three bays. The central doorway has a panelled iron door with a single long hinge, set under a cambered arch. On either side of the doorway are single recessed round arched blind panels, each containing a small circular opening with iron bars. Above the doorway is an oval stucco panel that is also dated 1823.
