Description

The wall, gate piers, and gates in front of the south side of the Church of St. Nicholas were built in the late 19th century. The structure features ashlar, brick, some render, and iron materials. The ashlar-coped wall extends 70 meters from east to west. At the eastern end, there is a single pair of rendered brick piers topped with ashlar coping and a decorative iron gate. At the western end, the wall is interrupted by a single pair of ashlar piers with ashlar coping, similar double iron gates, and an iron overthrow with a central lamp. This structure is included for its group value.
