Description
The Old House is a house dating from the 16th century or earlier. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tiled roof. The building features a crosswing on the right and a separately built crosswing on the left, which now includes a single-storey extension at the front. The house has one storey and an attic, with a window arrangement of 1:2:1 consisting of 20th-century small paned casements that are diamond leaded. The left extension has two windows, while the right crosswing has a two-window bay. There is a central 20th-century small paned door and a central red brick chimney stack. The roof construction includes queen strut side purlins. There may also be a remnant of a moat nearby.
