Description
Does Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 16th century, with brick facing added in the early 19th century, and features a weatherboarded stair tower at the rear. The building is timber framed with a red plain tiled roof and an open, gabled porch that has a vertically boarded door. It has two storeys and a single-storey extension to the left. The front has a three-window range of diamond leaded casements, although the central window on the first floor is blocked. There is one matching window on the left extension. The eaves are dentilled, and there is an original central red brick chimney with five octagonal shafts. Inside, the original newel stair remains, along with some original doors and fireplaces.
