Description
Bugle Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed from timber framing and plaster, topped with a red plain tiled roof. The building features crosswings on both the right and left sides, along with a single-storey lean-to on the right. The left crosswing has a jetty. The cottage has a two-storey façade with a window arrangement of three sections, each containing diamond leaded casements, two of which have 17th-century metal frames. There are boarded doors on both the left and right crosswings, as well as garage doors on the right lean-to. The exterior is accented by off-centre red brick chimney stacks on the left. Inside, the cottage retains internal stop-chamfered beams and original fireplaces.
