Description
This hexagonal outbuilding, dating from the 18th century, is located to the east of the barn and north of Woodhatch Farmhouse. It features a six-sided structure that is timber framed and weatherboarded. Originally, it was two storeys high, as indicated by a loft door and a small paned casement window situated above the side girts. The building has a hipped red tiled roof and double doors at ground level. Inside, it has a side purlin roof supported by crossbracing and a central support, with horizontal knees at the angles of the top plate. This is a well-crafted building, smaller than the one at Little Tawney Hall, but unique in this area.
