Description
Nos 25, 26, and 27 Tawney Common are a row of three cottages built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature an outshot at the rear, topped with a red plain tiled roof. The cottages are two storeys high, with a total of four small paned casements on the first floor and five on the ground floor. There are three vertically boarded doors and three red brick chimney stacks that are symmetrically placed. This row of cottages is a good example of its type.
