Description
Tawney Hatch is a house from the 17th century with later additions and alterations. It features a timber frame that is plastered, and it has a red plain tiled roof that is hipped on the left side and half-hipped on the right. The building is two storeys high and has a four-window range with 20th-century diamond leaded lights. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century plank and muntin door, which is sheltered by a tiled gabled open porch. Inside, there are stop-chamfered beams, and there is a central red brick chimney stack.
