Description
Tye Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 16th century or earlier, with later additions and alterations. It is timber framed and plastered, featuring a red plain tiled roof with a gabled dormer and a wing at the rear. The building has one storey and an attic, with a five-window range of diamond leaded casements. There is a weatherboard plinth and a 20th-century door leading to the rear wing. The cottage has an external red brick chimney stack on the left and a central stack at the ridge.
