Description

Ladderways is a cottage dating from the 16th century or earlier, with later extensions and alterations. It has one storey and an attic, featuring a gabled dormer. The roof is half hipped and covered with red plain tiles, and there are lean-to extensions on both the right and left sides, as well as an extension at the rear. The cottage is timber framed and plastered, with a brick plinth and exposed frame. It has a five-window range of diamond leaded casements and a plank and muntin door set in a moulded head. A red brick chimney stack is located to the right.
