Description

Breadlands is a cottage that dates from the 16th or 17th century, with later additions and alterations. It has one storey and attics, featuring two gabled dormers and one eyebrow dormer. The thatched roof has two levels and is half hipped to the right, complemented by a slate-covered 20th-century porch. The structure is timber framed and plastered, with a range of four windows that include various casements. There is a plain board door to the left and a 20th-century door located in an enclosed lean-to porch to the right. The cottage is topped with two square red brick chimney stacks.
