Description

Sweet Briar is a cottage that dates from the 16th or 17th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped by a thatched roof featuring two gabled dormers. The cottage has an off-centre red brick chimney stack and is one storey high with attics, along with a single-storey lean-to extension on the left side. The front has a window arrangement of one large window flanked by three smaller paned casements. An open gabled porch with small paned glazing leads to a vertically boarded door.
