Description

The village pump, located in a fenced enclosure on the green opposite number 13 Mary's Cottage, dates from the 19th century. It is made of cast iron and features three moulded bands on its stem. The pump has a fluted spout and an ornate bucket hook, as well as a fluted head and finial. An open handle is also present. A label on the pump reads "Appleby & Co. Renhishall Ironworks Nr. Chesterfield."
