Description

The village pump, dating from the 19th century, was created by Sweet and Chaines of Rotherham. It is made of cast iron and features a short fluted body with a nozzle, an openwork domed top, and a counterbalanced lever, although the arm is broken. There is a bracket for buckets, and the pump is situated within a semicircular retaining wall.
