Description

This milestone, located on the Hungerford to Sarum Turnpike, dates from the 18th century and is made of sarsen stone. It has a rectangular shape with a rounded top. The incised lettering is only partly legible, reading "TO / HUNGERFORD / 7 / SARUM / 20."
