Description

This milestone, located south of the Bagshot Road junction, dates from the 18th or 19th century. It is made of whitewashed stone and has a rectangular shape with a rounded top. The milestone features painted legends that read "HUNGERFORD 3" and "SARUM 34." There is also a benchmark on top, which includes a bronze button.
