Description

Crossways is a cottage dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed of flint with brick detailing and features a thatched roof. The building is single-storey with an attic and consists of three bays, with later lean-tos added at both ends. The entrance is now located at the rear, under a thatched porch, replacing a previously blocked doorway in the third bay. The cottage has timber windows that are fitted with leaded diamond glazing. There is a stack with a stair located between the second and third bays, as well as a stack on the right lean-to. The thatch extends over three dormers at the front and two roof dormers at the rear.
