The cottage is single-storey with an attic and consists of two bays, along with a later extension on the left side that is weatherboarded. There is also a boarded porch. The layout follows a lobby entry plan with a door at the rear. The windows are timber casements, except for the rear bay on the right. Inside, the cottage has an exposed fire lintel and stop-chamfered spine beams.
