Description
Little Annegrove is a 17th-century cottage located in Shalbourne Village. It features a timber frame with brick noggings and a thatched roof. The building is single-storey with an attic and consists of three bays. The entrance is located under a thatched canopy at the center bay, leading to a 20th-century boarded door. The framing consists of three panels high, with corner braces and jowled posts, and there are various timber windows throughout. The thatch was renewed in 1985 and is gabled over three dormers and a boarded outbuilding to the right. There is a second entrance in a 20th-century front lean-to. The roof includes queen struts and clasped purlins, with stacks located at the left gable and at the rear of the third bay. The framing on the ground floor of the rear has been replaced with brick.
