The building has one storey and an attic, consisting of 2½ bays, and has been extended by a single-storey structure on the right. The framing consists of two panels high with corner braces. There is a boarded door opposite the stack in the end half-bay. A gabled dormer is situated over the centre bay, which has been incorporated into the raising of the left bay to two storeys. The cottage has timber casement windows and an external stack added to the left parlour bay. The roof is half-hipped on the left and hipped over the extension to the right.
