Description

Stack House is a house dating from the 17th and 19th centuries. It has a timber frame that has been refaced with brick and features a thatched roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of four bays, with a rear wing that is also two storeys and has four bays. The garden front has a central glazed door flanked by side windows, and the ground floor windows are 12-pane sashes, all featuring segmental 9-inch brick arches. At the rear, there is a gable that connects to a 19th-century service wing. The right gable displays a moulded bressumer at the base and carved bargeboards, likely from the 17th century. Inside, the house has deep chamfered cross beams.
