Description
This is an early 18th-century farmhouse. It is constructed of brick with a thatched roof and originally comprised four bays, with a later 19th-century cross wing added to the left end. The brickwork features a diaper pattern and a plat band to the three central bays. A six-panelled door has been inserted into the right bay, replacing a blocked doorway in the central bay. Timber casement windows are present throughout. The right end bay is of the later 18th century and features a large two-storey canted bay window. A brick stack is located between bays one and two. The left cross wing is gabled and also has a two-storey bay. A rear wing, single bayed and opposite the front door, and various other extensions are also present.
