Description

September Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located in Collingbourne Kingston. It features a timber frame with brick noggings, a flint and brick gable, and a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic and consists of three bays, including a wide living hall, an inner room, and a narrow service room facing the road, which was likely added in the later 17th century. The framing has four panels high with corner braces, and there are outshuts at the rear. The service bay has a door, and while there are 20th-century paned windows, there is also an 18th-century timber leaded window in the flush dormer. Additionally, there is a dormer at the rear and a brick stack.
