COLLINGBOURNE KINGSTON AUGHTON (west side) SU 25 NW 4/172 September Cottage

Cottage. C17. Timber framed with brick noggings, flint and brick gable, and thatched roof. Single storey and attic, 3 bays, comprising a wide living hall with inner room and narrow service room against road, probably added in later C17. Framing 4 panels high with corner braces. Outshuts to rear. Door in service bay. C20 paned windows but C18 timber leaded window to flush dormer. Dormer to rear. Brick stack.
