Description

October Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located in Collingbourne Kingston. It features a timber frame with colourwashed brick noggings, which have been replaced on the south side by colourwashed brick laced flint. The cottage is single storey with an attic and consists of two bays, including a living hall and an inner service room, along with a lean-to room beyond the gable stack. The framing consists of two panels high with corner braces. A half-glazed door now leads into the lean-to, and there are 20th-century windows, along with one flush dormer on each side. The building has a brick stack.
