Description

The Forge is a 17th-century cottage located on the south-west side of Grafton Hollow Lane, Wilton. Originally a single-room and loft dwelling, it is now arranged as two bays with an attic. The exterior is rendered, with a thatched roof that is lower over the north-west bay and half-hipped. A 20th-century enclosed porch with a door is situated at the rear, opposite the stack. The cottage features various windows. The interior retains a spine beam and a high timber lintel over the fire.
