Description
Manor Farm Barn is a 17th-century barn located in the farmyard south of the farmhouse. It features a timber frame with a thatched roof, and some weatherboarding is present on the south bay. The barn consists of four bays, with a narrow east aisle and a lean-to at the south end. The frame's studding is exposed externally, lacking cross noggings, and there is brick infill. Long tension braces support the structure. The roof is half-hipped to the north and sweeps down over the lean-to at the south. There is a 20th-century vehicle entrance on the north side, along with cart doors in the third bay. Inside, the barn has queen strut trusses resting on jowled posts, with curved braces leading to the arcade plate.
