Description

Two cottages, originally built in the 18th century and now combined into a single house, stand on the east side of Grafton Hollow Lane, Wilton. The cottages are constructed of diaper brickwork and have a thatched roof. Each of the original cottages was two bays wide, with a door positioned laterally and two windows above. An additional bay has been added to the left-hand side. The original central cottage retains a boarded door. Three-light timber casement windows have replaced the original windows. A plat band runs along the front. The thatch is swept over three two-light dormers, and there are gable stacks. The added bay lacks a plat band but displays exposed framing in its gable. A Sun Insurance sign, number 572322, is also visible.
