Description

Colesthatch is a house dating from the 16th to 17th century. It features a timber frame with brick noggings and has been extended in brick. The roof is thatched. The building is single storey with an attic and consists of four bays, with the framing three panels high. The first bay includes remnants of an earlier framed structure and has corner braces. There is a 19th-century two-storey bay extension on the right and a lean-to on the left. The entrance is located at the rear, and there are 20th-century timber casement windows. The thatch extends over three dormers and has a half-hipped design on the left.
