Description

Apple Tree Cottage is a house formed from three cottages originally built as a row. It dates to the 18th century, and is constructed of brick, with the left-hand section incorporating flint panels set in limestone. The roof is thatched, and the house has a single storey plus an attic, encompassing six bays. A boarded door is found in the third bay. Windows are arranged in pairs and in threes, some featuring diamond-leaded glass within wooden frames. The thatch is swept over six dormers on both sides of the building and is hipped on the left. There are three chimney stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
