Description

The Thatched Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on Livery Road in West Winterslow. It features a timber frame with rendered infill panels and a thatched roof. Originally a single storey with an attic, it has been raised to two storeys and consists of two and a half bays, with half-bay extensions added to both ends in the early 18th century. There is a door to the left, likely in its original opening, which is sheltered by a thatched canopy. The cottage has 20th-century paned timber windows and an axial stack located in the right main bay, opposite the door. The left extension is a single storey made of rendered brick and stone, and the thatch is hipped over the extensions. The interior has not been seen.
